Located on an idyllic stretch of the Cornish Riviera, Duporth is located just minutes from the picturesque harbour village of Charlestown. With fine sands, safe waters and a steep cliff backdrop the private beach can only be accessed by foot providing the ideal getaway along a stunning stretch of coastline.

Taking its name from the Cornish for “Love Sea,” Kara Mor is a contemporary three bedroom property, with views towards the sea, situated on the Two Coves development. Formerly the Duporth Holiday Village, the site boasts a collection of newly built properties, surrounded by established trees and shrubs, to create a natural ambiance. The development is bordered by woodlands creating the ideal setting for a tranquil stroll, whilst the private Duporth Sands is within a five minute coastal path walk.

The property benefits from a spacious kitchen area which leads out into the enclosed garden providing the ideal opportunity for al fresco dining. The living area is enhanced by a wall mounted fire, perfect for warming up around after an active day exploring the rugged coastline on your doorstep.

The neighbouring village of Charlestown is real draw for those in search of a traditional working port. As a point of interest, the port is also home to a historic china clay building, and also home to the largest UK collection of artefacts and treasure recovered from shipwrecks. Charlestown town also has two pubs, a hotel and two restaurants, offering everything from traditional pub grub with local real ales, to a la carte dining.

Only a couple of miles away from Duporth is St Austell, the largest town in Cornwall with a wonderful range a of independent shops. Here guests can experience the world famous Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. These major attractions attract worldwide visitors and provide an enjoyable day out for all ages.

...facilities. Everything was as promised and we were able immediately to start to enjoy our stay. Little welcome details were thoughtfully provided on our arrival. The location was lovely for reasonably fit folk to walk to the beach but elderly ones might struggle We are in our 70s and coped well Nearby is Charlestown, a delightful Poldark type location with excellent views and pub/restaurants. A location also ideal for visiting other places of interest in Cornwall.. A location that really ticks all of the boxes. Submitted by Gerald on 26/09/2016
