There are many beaches nearby to choose from. Charlestown Beach is sandy with pebbles of geological interest and Porthpean Beach, a great family friendly beach is a short drive away. For those interested in golf, there are three golf courses nearby.
Just over a mile away is the market town of St Austell. Here you will find an array of larger shopping outlets, restaurants and attractions. The world-famous Eden Project is only five miles from Charlestown and offers a fun-filled day for all age groups.

...we were disappointed at the lack of helpful supporting information at the apartment about places to see which we have been accustomed to on other holidays. There was no visitors''comments book which was a bit strange. The site manager was difficult to contact but once we got used to this we were happy to leave messages or contact the head office who were very helpful.
