With an acre of garden and only a short stroll to fluching beach, this is an ideal location for a relaxing family holiday. A well equipped and homely kitchen will ensure that you have everything you need to fill those hungry tummies at the end of a day exploring. The large sitting room also has a table for dining, the whole family can eat and socialise together and open the patio doors to bring the outside in on a sunny day. There is a large balcony area for Al fresco dining at any time of the day, overlooking the fabulous garden, with trees, shrubs, pond and the sea beyond.

Climb the wonderful, period staircase to the three bedrooms where after a good night’s sleep you can wake to views of the sea at Falmouth Bay. Overlooking the one acre garden and the ancient oak woodland valley to Gillan Creek and Dennis Head, this house is a lovely choice for a family holiday.

Gillan is a quiet and rural village at the mouth of the Helford River. The shingle beach at Flushing Cove, west of Gillan harbour, is within walking distance and a little further along there is a lovely walk along Lestowder Cliff which leads to Nare Point, the famed observation point with outstanding panoramic views to Falmouth. St Anthony is on the opposite bank of the creek with its fabulous sheltered pebble beach with sailing boats, motorboats, kayaks and dinghies all available to hire. Fishing coves galore can be found on the Lizard Peninsula or if you are looking for larger stretches of sand, Kennack, Poldhu and the National Trust Cove of Kynance are all within easy driving distance. Falmouth is a great place to visit where you can browse the art galleries and stop for lunch at one of the harbour restaurants. This is a fabulous area of Cornwall and you will certainly have a wonderful family holiday at this house.

The pretty village of Manaccan offers local facilities including post office/stores, 16th Century Inn and a cafe/bistro. The village is on the Lizard peninsula in south Cornwall and is about five miles southwest of Falmouth. Manaccan lies within the Cornwall area of outstanding natural beauty.
