On the edge of St Agnes, along a quiet residential lane, and just moments from restaurants and shops and within a mile of the sandy beach, is 2 Water Lane, a semi-detached Victorian villa on three levels. This is a lovely family house. Inside is bright and easy with good furniture, colours and wood floors. Step up to the front door and into the light hall, then step into the living room which has a cosy wood-burning stove, through to a separate quiet area. Follow through to the back of the house and into the kitchen-dining room; it has a utility area and back door to the garden. At this level there is a family bathroom. Head up the stairs to two double bedrooms, one a king-size, and a WC; then more stairs up to a twin bedroom under the eaves and a neatly fitted shower-room. There are steps from the kitchen up to an attractive, enclosed, terraced garden with large decked area with table and chairs, trees and views across the village. A great spot within strolling distance of town and beach. Why not try a bit of golf at nearby Perranporth, or venture to nearby Truro or Newquay.
St Agnes is a thriving picturesque village on the Cornish coast, with four beaches on the doorstep and surrounded by wonderful countryside. Swim or surf in the clear waters, walk the footpaths and bridleways or hop onto the South West Coast Path.

Equipped with everything you need. Great location. We will stay again. Iâd happily live there. That window! Garden is glorious. Comfy beds. So quiet. Parking is an issue. Water lane is narrow and has a deep, hidden, sharp drop gully down one side and the parking space is small. It is doable for a competent driver (not me) but you have to tuck right in with a lot of manoeuvring and the neighbour still complained. But you can park 2 mins away. The lady I spoke to at Sykes was very helpful.

The house could do with a deep clean would have loved to have lit the log burner but no logs or kindling were left. Definitely can't park your car outside the house unless you have a mini.

The toilet on the landing was a little public (!) but the ground floor was good. The wetsuit facility was really good. The parking is really only for a small car and we were unable to use it, which meant we had to park on British Road -no problem in off season - but packing and unpacking was stressful.
