Situated just 5 miles from the cathedral city of Truro with a main line railway station, theatre, cinema and a great choice of restaurants, pubs and shops. The house is equal distance from so many key attractions including, the Eden Project, the wide surfing beaches of Newquay, Portreath and Porthtowan. The picturesque harbour and magnificent beaches of St Ives is within easy reach, famous for its art galleries including The Tate Modern or the maritime town and deep water harbour of Falmouth home of the National Maritime Museum and host to many prestigious sailing, food and music events. There are many sub tropical gardens to visit including Trebah, Durgan and Trelissike.
Hop on one of the local ferry services and discover the delights of the Roseland Peninsula or take in some history and heritage at Pendennis Castle, Falmouth or St Mawes Castle, both built by Henry VII to protect these wide and important waterways. The famous TV series Poldark was filmed close by and the area has been designated World Heritage status for its tin mining days. The area boasts one of the best cycle trails running from Devoran on the south coast to Portreath on the north coast along the unused tramway line, passing numerous old engine houses on route.
