Internally, the property has been completed to the highest standard, offering spacious accommodation including a conservatory/dining-room on first floor level, making the most of the amazing panoramic views. Externally, the well maintained gardens are the perfect place to relax, unwind and take in the stunning surrounding views.

The pretty fishing village of St Ives is a short drive away. You can meander through the cobbled streets, relax in the many award winning restaurants or enjoy a cream tea whilst watching the fishing boats land their catch. For the more artistic among you, visit the Tate Gallery, Barbara Hepworth Museum, Bernard Leach Pottery as well as the many working galleries throughout the town. Beach lovers will not be disappointed – the beaches are wide, sandy and clean – and swimming in the clear blue sea is an endless pleasure, while the rock pools will keep children and adults entertained for hours.

Make the most of your time spent in West Cornwall by exploring the surrounding area. Take a day trip to Lands End, the UK’s most westerly point, or visit the fairytale island which is home to St Michael’s Mount and accessed by foot along the causeway. For a truly unique experience take in a performance under the stars at the Minack Theatre, an open air theatre perched high on the rugged cliffs.

I was on holiday with my husband, my 91 year old mother (who can still manage stairs) and we all had an excellent holiday. The house, conveniently located just outside St.Ives, afforded tranquillity, spaciousness and comfort. However, the real wow factor was the sublime view over the huge, sweeping bay and the golf course. We certainly intend to re-book next year.

Stayed in early June with my husband, 18 month old and parent in laws. Facilities at Overlinks were excellent and all in great condition. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again next year. The views are stunning and at pretty much 180 degrees around the dining area we spent every evening watching the kite surfers, golfers and dog walkers - honestly the best view I've had on my years of visiting Cornwall. The little train from Lelant Saltings into St Ives was a favourite with baby and grandad! And only £8 for all of us to travel all day on a rover type ticket - saved on expensive parking! Only a 25 min walk to Carbis Bay along the main road, a slightly more challenging walk down to St Ives in the coastal path but well worth it - not one for a pram though so take a baby carrier! A short 15 min ramble down to Hayle beach on the coastal path and over the railway at the crossing point. Can't wait to go back next year!
