There are two well-furnished bedrooms here, with the double room featuring an antique-style king-size bed. The ground floor is open plan, offering a well-equipped kitchen with a dual fuel range cooker, as well as sitting and dining areas. There is also a relaxing day room, with a daybed looking out on to the patio. Six steps lead up to the well-designed garden, with its pergola, palm tree and water feature, offering a variety of places to relax with a choice of tables and chairs, a bench seat and even a lounger for total relaxation. The village of Probus has well-known and acclaimed restaurants, plus small shops and a good Cornish pub, and is only six miles away from the city of Truro, with its excellent shopping and variety of restaurants. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are also both within easy reach. Swallow Cottage really is the place for a relaxing holiday at any time of the year.
