In an admirable seafront location with a furnished terrace and its own outdoor games room, you can really adopt outdoor living when staying here throughout the summer months. The panoramic sea views are also well-visible from the first-floor lounge area, ensuring you can still admire these mighty seascapes and spot pods of dolphins from indoors whilst enjoying a cosy atmosphere. The property is exceptionally well-proportioned with space for 10 guests and two dogs – a great retreat for family or friends.

On arrival, stop off in the handy utility area with laundry facilities and ample room for storing beach equipment or other outdoor gear. You can then access the kitchen/diner, a bright, optimistic space with all the cooking necessities. Four out of five bedrooms are situated down here on the ground floor, two of which are presented with en-suite bathrooms. A final family bathroom serves the other two bedrooms. The last bedroom, a double with a further en-suite, is just upstairs. You’ll find a lovely lounge on the first floor with a warming electric fire and a Smart TV. Finally, step out onto the patio to take in those 360 sea views, fire up the BBQ or simply dine alfresco.

Perched high above the Porthleven Cliffs, this property is situated on the brink of the Lizard Heritage Coast with Porthleven’s town and beach around half a mile away. This harbour town is a space for crabbing, rock pooling and bodyboarding, complete with plenty of local eateries to frequent. Apart from the noise from the building site on the land which was part of the property, which made it annoying when sitting in the garden. I phoned the office and complained that all downstairs blinds just fitted before our arrival all the cords were hanging down in a dangerous position for the 2 year old child in our party. The gentleman I spoke to said he would email the local manager to contact me, this did not happen. Also to get people to rebook a holiday more details at this property more details need to improved to make it worthwhile.

Location was amazing and on the face of it the property is lovely. My main issue was the travel cot. If you are going to give the option, please provide a decent travel cot. We had an awful first night because the travel cot was awful, I wouldn't have put the dogs in it. We ended up having to go to Truro the next day to buy one, for only £35 more than the retail price of the one provided. Had the travel cot not been an option I wouldn't have relied on it for our baby. We had a birds nest in the attic above our room, understand not your fault but needs looking into. Our shower also leaked into the hall. The shower downstairs doesn't have a screen so can't be used. The speakers in the living room had wires hanging out. Some of the lamps didn't have bulbs. The door to the garden didn't seem to actually lock, just bolts. On the face of it a lovely place to stay but lots of details missed and that's why we won't stay again or recommend.

The property is advertised as 3 double bedrooms en suite but in fact one of the double bedrooms shares a bathroom (jack & gill style) with a twin bedroom.
