About this property

Chiva Som is a reverse-level cottage only minutes away from Porthleven harbour which used to be the home of the village’s gig club. This lovely cottage has original oak flooring, a woodburner in the living room, granite work surfaces in the modern kitchen and underfloor heating in both en-suite bathrooms, the high-quality furnishings adding an extra touch of luxury and comfort to the cottage with a real home from home feel to it. Being the former gig club, the cottage is within walking distance of everything Porthleven has to offer, a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and pubs, it has always been popular with artists and crafts people and there are several shops displaying and selling local work. A lovely cottage and decorated so tastefully - we loved the Christmas decorations. As usual we found Porthleven laid back and wonderfully relaxing. A shame our children didn't appreciate the tranquility or scenery!

Extremely clean cottage. Very well equipped for any cooking one might want to do. Would definitely recommend the Atlantic Inn for food - follow coastal road up past beach then first left. Cottage in great location and had a very comfortable stay!

Great holiday, lovely neighbours and local people. Very clean and well equipped cottage. Supper weather! Highly recommend both cottage and Porthleven. We will be back!
