About this property

Superbly located directly opposite the award-winning Porth Beach, situated on the coastal road that links Newquay and Watergate Bay is this excellent seaside apartment. This modern and well-appointed ground floor apartment offers the perfect beach break holiday, ideal for families or two couples. As you arrive, you'll be in a rush to unpack and wander across the road, directly onto the wonderful beach. With a double en-suite bedroom and a twin, as well as a spacious open plan living area, this is the ideal, stylish holiday home. The double bedroom enjoys its own en-suite shower room, whilst the separate family bathroom serves the twin room. Take a step outside from either the master bedroom or the roomy living area onto the lovely, private patio - a sunny spot to relax in after a busy day on the beach, or even being so close, to pop back for an alfresco lunch. Another excellent advantage of staying at the Beach House is that you have access to the wonderful facilities of the Porth Veor Manor hotel, just a short walk away, included in your booking. With a heated swimming pool, bar, conservatory to relax in and the superb Beaucliffes restaurant offering some of the finest, freshest food in the area, this is a superb addition for your holiday. Porth Beach really is the ideal family beach, as its lovely golden sands are well sheltered by the headlands, which trail into the shore to both sides. Porth Island to the east is accessed over a narrow footbridge and is well worth the walk, both for the spectacular views and to marvel at the impressive prehistoric earthworks and early settlement remains. At low tide you can stroll to Watergate Bay along the beach, for a walk you will never forget, before returning after refreshment along the stunning coastal path. You also have the choice of wandering into Newquay, either via the beach or coastal path, to enjoy all that this popular seaside town has to offer. With so much on the doorstep you will find you might not need your car all week, but if you decide to go for a drive along the coast you will find a host of tiny coves and beaches all waiting to be explored. This is an excellent holiday home for your Cornish break beside the sea, which will delight the whole family.

Porth is a small seaside village on the outskirts of Newquay. The village offers a shop, cafes, restaurants and a pub on the sandy beach, plus nearby is the South West Coast Path, which boasts spectacular scenery. Watergate Bay, with its rolling waves, surf schools, cafe and pubs, is a short walk away, and the popular resort of Newquay with its beaches, watersports, pubs, restaurants, zoo and aquarium is well worth a visit.

Wish we had found this place when our children were younger

a lot of kitchen utensils, plates etc weren’t there or had been left in the dishwasher, there was no can opener we had to go out and buy one! We stayed in the same apartment last year things just not the same . PS a dvd player would have been handy as the TV picture wasn’t brilliant.

The floors could have done with being cleaner and maybe the garden could have done with weeding. Location amazing though, and having our own parking space was very handy.
