This delightful and beautifully furnished end-terrace cottage is set on the outskirts of the small village of Goonhavern, just three miles from Perranporth and its wonderful beach with miles of golden sand. Being so close to one of Cornwall's finest beaches and only 6 miles from Newquay, Holly Cottage is ideally located for beach holidays and touring all of Cornwall. A really homely cottage, set in a quiet location, you will sense the character as soon as you arrive. With a large yet cosy sitting room complete with beams. A well-designed fitted kitchen with a pretty dining area to enjoy meals together completes the ground floor accommodation whilst on the first floor the two well-furnished bedrooms are located along with the bathroom. A large lawned deattached side garden offers a peaceful spot to enjoy a barbecue at the end of a day on the beach. A short walk away is the village of Goonhavern with a shop and general store selling local produce as well as a popular pub the New Inn, serving delicious locally sourced food and Cornish ales. Apart from the obvious delights of Perranporth, St Agnes and Newquay, the cottage is closely situated to the A30 making the whole of Cornwall easily accessible. Holly Cottage is a great base for a holiday or short break whatever time of year.

Goonhavern is a small Cornish village three miles inland from Perranporth, which lies in the heart of Poldark country, the setting for the novels of Winston Graham, who lived in Perranporth in the 1930s. Goonhavern is an active community with a traditional inn, village shop and children’s playground and hosts an annual traditional Cornish Fair. Once known as the source of the finest tin, the community still retains reminders of their rich heritage including abandoned pump houses, mine shafts and workers’ cottages.
