About this property

... a sturdy detached cottage in Rose, standing firm by the dunes and coast for unknown centuries. A large, enclosed garden surrounds it - mostly lawn and shrubs to the front (picnic table, barbecue); crunchy gravel drive and parking at the back. The friendly local farming (retired) owners live in the hamlet.

Inside, surprisingly spacious. Living room (TV/DVD) with narrow beams and big inglenook (woodburner). Fitted kitchen (washing machinetumble drier,microwavefridge-freezer) with colourful tiles; dining area with door to back garden. Original, quite narrow stairs (stairgates) to three bedrooms – two double (one with access immediately off stairs and one with washbasin), and a twin. Bathroom (suite, shower over bath). A cosy, homely cottage in an excellent coastal location.

"A comfortable and well equipped cottage, the fully enclosed, secure garden is private and peaceful and the quality garden furniture/BBQ are a boon."

  • Mr & Mrs Tucker

"Nice old cottage, with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Lovely cream tea on arrival, which was very much appreciated. Nice area for walking, the dogs enjoyed the dunes. Garden is fully enclosed, and wonderful for sitting out in the sunshine if you are lucky enough to have good weather."
