Snaptrip says

Beggars Roost is a spacious property with a charming location in Cornwall, appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. Guests enjoyed the comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and the added entertainment of a games room. The property's character and the thoughtful welcome gifts from the local cider farm were highlights for many.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Several guests reported cleanliness issues, including dust, dead flies, and dog hair, which detracted from their experience. Some felt the need to clean upon arrival, indicating room for improvement in this area.

The property's location is highly praised for its peacefulness and proximity to attractions like Healeys Cyder Farm and local beaches. The active graveyard nearby was noted, but it did not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.

Guests found the beds very comfortable and the property spacious. However, some furniture was reported as worn or broken, suggesting that while the property is generally comfortable, there is scope for enhancement.

The property is well-equipped with a games room and kitchen amenities, but some guests encountered issues with broken appliances and a lack of cleaning equipment. Maintenance responsiveness was also a concern.

Many guests mentioned and appreciated the welcome gifts, which added a touch of thoughtfulness to their stay. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

House has everything you need and more. If you forget it don’t worry, it’ll be here. Fresh flowers on the table and milk in the fridge on arrival was a beautiful touch. The house is stunning, comfortable and the enclosed front garden is ideal for keeping dogs & children safe. We loved the games table and became air hockey champions. Owners were in touch by email before our stay and were very friendly and helpful. Really is a beautiful base for any Cornish adventures. We all absolutely loved our stay and will definitely book again if we find ourselves in that neck of the woods.

From the moment you arrive you are greeted by the sounds of birds singing and the sounds of the local wildlife. Waking up in the morning for breakfast we were lucky enough to see a squirrel playing in the tree outside the window .In the evening when the sun goes down have a glass of wine, sit outside and watch the bats fly around. As there is no light pollution the stars on a clear night are phenomenal, You are close to beautiful Cornish beaches and coastal walks .The house is very clean and tidy and very well equipped for families ,you are next Healeys an award-winning Cornish Cyder producer ,They have an amazing restaurant that has friendly staff and accommodates for many dietary needs. Overall this was such amazing stay we have booked again for next year thank you.

The property has plenty of space and catered for all our needs. The dryer was broken upon arrival however the owner rectified the situation by the next morning. Overall the property was clean, a couple of worn areas but that did not impact our stay at all. The table in the kitchen was sticky although clean, my suggestion would be it needs to be sanded and oiled. The games table was very handy especially with the Cornish weather. The property is right next to an active graveyard, so something to bear in mind with those that are sensitive to it. We had a lovely stay and had a lovely welcome gift from the Cyder farm.
