The property is in a wonderful location. Just outside of Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole. To have parking at the property was brilliant and our view from the living room was truly break taking. Our immediate aspect is of seal island so many a morning was spent watching the seals through the window. If you're up early enough you'll see one or two venture from their island over to the shore..and I was also lucky enough to see wild dolphins jumping through the water on two occasions, which was a very special sight. The property is within walking distance of Mousehole..there are some lovely shops and I highly recommend making The Ship Inn your local. The food, service and staff are brilliant and the pub itself has original features. There are steps just outside the property that take you down by the shoreline so you can walk into Mousehole by this route rather than the street way, which is great. Down the road is Newlyn where you can get boat trips around the coast..these are also available from Penzance. We would recommend Cormorant Cruises run by Mike. He's knowledgeable about the area and a lovely man. We went for an hour and would highly recommend his trips. In Penzance you have a whole host of shops, restaurants and bars. I love the Dolphin pub as it's very traditional looking, and is local to the shops. If you're looking for beaches..Praa sands are wonderful. Good facilities and places to get food and the parking was cheap too, but go early to get a spot. Sennen is lovely too, as is Porthcurno. If you're after culture then you have to visit the Minack Theatre - We've been twice and loved it both times with the sun set. Lands End is great (I personally didn't like the First/Last Inn pub which is located close by.) We went on a Thursday night to see the fireworks and have to say it was lovely. Just sitting on the rocks watching the sunset was theatre enough to be fair so the fireworks were just a nice ending to the evening. In terms of the property itself. It is perfect for a family of four. We didn't want for any

Third time for us in Carveth, a wonderful cottage. Unlike last year with snow, this year was wall to wall sunshine, the views from the five sitting room windows over Mounts Bay were breathtaking. Carveth has everything with level entry and on site parking, carrying luggage is so easy, within 20 minutes we felt at home drinking tea looking first at the beautiful flowers on the table then the magnificent view. The audio system is excellent, the comfortable chairs great, the large flat screen TV is brilliant, the beds most comfortable, all in tastefully decorated surroundings, what more could one ask for? Hopefully we shall soon be back again.
