A variety of boat trips regularly depart from the harbour, offering cruises and fishing trips along with a ferry across the estuary to Rock.

We spent the Whitsun bank holiday week at West Court. The group consisted of two grandparents, 4 other adults and 2 teenagers, plus 2 aging dogs. The accommodation itself was spacious and airy and very calming. I felt at home straight away. Top quality fittings and features in this house. It felt special and luxurious and so peaceful. All rooms spacious and could quite easily have accommodated more beds. A whole range of books and board games were supplied. The provision of beach equipment was a real bonus find in the garage alongside wind breaks and beach chairs. The beach at Trevone was literally 5 minutes away, sadly it didn't allow dogs but there were numerous breath-taking walks for them on the cliffs overlooking the beach. The beach was smallish and felt secure mainly with families playing, great for body boarding. A slight breeze at all times. Sweet little river running across it to the sea. Shop just down by the beach selling all the usual sweets and snacks plus wetsuit, beach chair and board hire, and a range of quality clothing for sale. Further afield it was only about 10 mins drive to Padstow, a trip that we made nearly every day.All in all a fantastic house in a fantastic location. We had such a great time we are considering booking again for next year.
