About this property

In an ideal location for beach lovers and walkers this well-appointed apartment is set on the top floor of the east wing of the Ocean 1 development on the beautiful Pentire peninsula, with views across Fistral beach and walking distance to Newquay on the north coast of Cornwall. After taking the lift to the second floor you enter the apartment into the hallway where you can leave your walking boots and beach equipment before entering the open plan living room. With a comfortable sitting area with all the seating looking out to sea your eyes will be drawn to the sheltered private balcony, with views over Fistral beach and the sea beyond to Trevose head. There are three bedrooms, a king-size double with en suite, a double and a twin both opposite the family bathroom. From the apartment the options are endless, a few minute stroll will take you to the world famous Fistral beach with all its surfing and beach activities, or to Crantock's family beach or onto the South West Coastal Path and the beautiful Pentire headland wth views over the Atlantic ocean. Newquay town centre, and its six other beaches are all within walking distance, including Lusty Glaze, Sunday Times Beach of the Year 2017. Excellent restaurants and cafes with outstanding views are all close by, including Rick Steins Fish and Chips, The Stable and Seaspray all on Fistral beach, Lewinninck Lodge on Pentire, and Fern Pit Cafe overlooking Crantock Bay. A walk along Fistral beach or the beach path alongside Newquay golf course, leads you to the harbour area and many other restaurants, shops and bars in Newquay itself. With all facilities close by, you can leave the car in the gated parking area all holiday and explore on foot. Or, with Newquay airport and rail station short journeys away, come without a car.

Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. Plenty of Dinnerware & very well thought out. Lovely touch with milk, tea, coffee & biscuits on arrival. Will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you.

Overall, it is a lovely accommodation and we're very likely to go back again. If I'm being picky, I would say that the leather sofa will need to be replaced soon. The other thing is that if the washing machine is actually a wash dryer that would have make life much easy as with all the rain we had, we're struggling to dry our clothes and towels as the accommodation use underfloor heating so there are no radiators.

Has always we had a lovely stay in fristal outlook every thing you need home from home only one think we wish there was a hand rail in both the showers in the bath rooms as we're getting older and y son who has mobility difficulties it would be very useful to hold on to thats the only thing that we can think fistral outlook is lacking for older guests otherwise 5 stars from us again
