This is an ideal base for people wishing to explore this beautiful part of the country. With ample private parking right outside the cottage you can safely leave your car parked up if desired for the duration of your holiday such is the location. Entering the cottage you will be charmed by the open plan living room which has been tastefully furnished throughout, as is the beautiful mezzanine bedroom on the first floor. For flexibility in sleeping, there is also a double sofa bed in the sitting area. Right next to the cottage is a fenced dog-friendly zone in the local park, a great place for your four-legged friends to run around and enjoy their holiday as well. It is only a short stroll to the village pub which offers good value food and local ales as well as entertainment. Also very close by is the village supermarket, supplying you with all your daily needs. There is a delightful walk along a footpath through fields to the award-winning Porth beach, which can be accessed by walking between the pub and village church. The many beaches in Newquay are all easily accessed on foot as is the coastal path offering a breathtaking walk from Porth beach to Watergate Bay and beyond. If you consult the tide times you can return all the way along the beach for a walk to remember. With Newquay so close, with all its attractions there will always be a wide choice of bars, clubs and restaurants when it comes to evenings before returning to the sanctuary of your quiet village cottage. An ideal location for holidays all year round.

St Columb Minor is a quiet village off the main road into Newquay, with a supermarket and an excellent local pub, the Farmers Arms. Here, apart from being well-known for their food and local ales, a varied range of weekly events prove most popular. Opposite the pub, is the magnificent village church, dating from around 1430, and the high tower has been a landmark for generations of fishermen.

There is no garden with this property however, right next to the cottage is a fenced dog-friendly zone in the local park
