...can walk down the steep stone steps to whipsiderry beach or walk down the hill to porth beach. Porth beach is fabulous. It has a shallow river on one side of the beach which is ideal if you do not like the sea/waves. Lots of rocks to explore. Cafes, toilet and lifeguard. You can park on the beach too.take lots if pound coins for parking, i noticed an increase in parking charges since last year. Fistral beach is for serious surfers and has bigger waves, worth a visit but porth beach is my favourite. One thing to note is that you need to access the apartment before driving down the slope to the underground parking. This is to obtain your apartment key, electric door fob and garage door button. This information was not provided so we were stuck down a steep slope with nowhere to go! This apartment is really airy because it has pitched ceilings so it feels big. ...added extras, (games stations music centre all mod cons). Good if you like walking though it is about a 20 minute half hour walk into Newquay but the views on the way are stunning! Only downfall was the shower door in the en suite wasn't very secure kept coming off the railings, and picking up the keys could have been a bit easier x Submitted by Amanda on 04/06/2015
