Piran Meadows Resort is part of our Go Active Breaks+ Collection, and is superbly located just a short drive from the golden beaches of Newquay. Surrounded by the glorious North Cornwall countryside and perfect for exploring the delights of Britain’s surf capital, this is an ideal base for a family holiday taken completely at your own pace.
Do as much or as little as you please! A stylish bar and restaurant and a huge range of activities on site and locally ensures something to suit everyone – all you need for creating those unforgettable holiday memories.
Covid-19 Changes: Darwin Escapes have temporarily removed some non-essential high contact items from their accommodation (eg. Decorative cushions, hair dryers). In line with government restrictions facilities/activities maybe running at a reduced capacity, or closed on selected days during your stay.
Arrival Information: Darwin Escapes check-in’s are available from 17:00. If you are likely to arrive later than 18:00, please call our resort reception team on 01726 860 415 to let them know.
Departure Information: Check out time is at 9:00am on the day of your departure. Darwin Escapes kindly ask that you leave your accommodation as you found it.
Hot Tub Information: Please note due to water change and maintenance your hot tub may not be up to the correct temperature when you first arrive. By using the hot tub you are agreeing to Darwin Escapes’ terms and conditions, and agreeing that you have read their hot tub safety information, found here.
Travel Cot Hire: You can request a travel cot on your booking. Please note you must bring your own mattress and bedding for the cot. Unfortunately travel cots do not fit in any double/masters bedrooms of Piran Meadows’ static caravan accommodation. If your accommodation will have an unused twin room during your stay, the resort may be able to remove the beds and create a space, please call our reception team on 01726 860 415.
Pets: Please make sure that you have included your pet in your booking. If your pet is not included, Darwin Escapes will either relocate you to a pet-friendly lodge, if there is one available, or holds the right to refuse access to the resort. You may be liable for any charges incurred.
Resort Facilities: Piran Meadows’ facilities are currently working at a reduced capacity and pre-booking for any activities or food at the restaurant is essential. Please book by calling the resort reception on 01726 860 415. The gym can be used by people over 16 years old only. Young adults between the ages of 16 - 18 must be accompanied by an adult when in the gym. You can access the gym by visiting reception, you may be asked for a fully refundable deposit.

Group Bookings/Party Types: A security deposit may be requested on arrival. No Work vehicles or Workwear will be permitted on site. Un-authorised Work Parties will not be allowed to stay.

I cannot comment about the restaurant, because it was closed during my stay due to the Christmas break. I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time on holiday, and the Wadebridge 3 was excellent.

Nothing open for families. Hi active programme very overly priced and not for older children as I was told it was. Not even a bar open on New Year’s Eve. Nothing on site even though was advertised as a festive break. No xmas atmosphere at all

Lovely experience - didn't expect such a positive experience as this was a last minute booking at a busy time of year with potential looming Covid restrictions. Came with 1 teenager, and 2 little kids, but something for everyone here and close to beautiful beaches. Accommodation had more than we expected and it was immaculate for my wife, who is very clean and nervous about staying away from home. Her face was beaming when we checked in - everything you need for self-catering is provided, beyond expectation - warm and cosy too. We will recommend the park to our friends and hopefully be back. Staff very cheerful and attentive, extra bedding provided on request immediately and little things like lending you a pound for lockers at the swimming pool, smiling, joking... always helpful and happy to give advice.
