Snaptrip says

Little May cottage in Newquay, Cornwall, is frequently praised for its cleanliness, comfortable setting, and friendly owners. Guests appreciate the property's excellent location for exploring nearby sights and the enclosed field for dogs. While most experiences are positive, a few guests noted issues with parking during swimming lessons and a lack of local walks.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests have reported the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few not mentioning cleanliness specifically. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to Newquay and beaches, offering beautiful views and easy access to the whole of Cornwall. However, some guests noted the lack of local walks and the busy nature of the area during swimming lesson times.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a homely feel and a comfy bed. There are a few remarks about the size of the cottage being compact and one comment about the bed's comfort, but overall, the sentiment is positive.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the kitchen being well-equipped and the garden ideal for dogs. However, some guests mentioned issues with cutlery and the unexpected impact of swimming lesson traffic, which suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews. Therefore, while the hosts are noted to be friendly and accommodating, it is not possible to score thoughtfulness based on the available information.

Overall very happy stay at Little May.

We had not been forwarned prior to booking the holiday. No information on what could be recycled. No leaflets on local attractions in the are. The fridge door was hung on the wrong side to gain access to the fridge. You needed to lean round the door. The door was reversible.

Clair was marvellous, nothing seemed too much trouble at all . Quiet and rural location with good access to Newquay and the surrounding area.
