...stunning views of the magnificent Newquay beaches. Then walked down to the harbour and across the beach to have Americanos on the quay. Bought crabs straight from the quay and prepared them in the well equipped kitchen. Dining with the french doors open and the gentle sounds of evening by the sea. Surfed at the famous Fistral beach, then had drinks in the evening sun at the bar followed by a superb choice of food. Stein's chips are just the best! Then only a short stroll home to the apartment with all mod cons and great hot shower. Away from the busy part of town but close to excellent Restaurants, made 1 Harbour View a top place to stay. ...very speedy. No surprises upon arrival, this was a great short break with friends. The apartment was well furnished and in good order. This is in my opinion the best location in Newquay as you are only 5 mins from fistral beach, far enough from the noisy bars, but only 2 minutes from the centre of town and overlook the sea. Highly recommend the boathouse restaurant in the harbour below. Submitted by Sam on 30/06/2014
