… 4 miles inland from Looe, at the end of a quiet no-through lane, a smart, split-level, 'upside down' cottage converted along with three more cottages (residential, one attached) from barns around the courtyard of this former farmstead. Outside, the cottage has a sunny little sitting-out area and across the drive is the original farmhouse (also residential). Walks from the door (stock permitting, wellies recommended) over rolling fields and private woodland where deer, badgers and foxes are often spotted. Occasional passing tractor on lane.  

Four shallow steps up to stable doors and 6 more (stairgates) up to open-plan living/dining/kitchen with modern decor and good light from Velux windows (part sloping ceiling); fitted kitchen units (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freeze, electric cooker) with dining at breakfast bar (stools) and comfy living area with woodburner, TV/DVD/video and leather sofas. Downstairs, two bedrooms – a double (TV), and a pretty single; bathroom (suite, shower over bath). A peaceful rural location with coast close by and easy access to A38 for exploring further afield. Farm shop, golf, pub, 1½ miles.
