Laburnham is a totally private lodge with 60 miles of uninterrupted views. This secluded property sits on what is known as "the front line" of Tregonhawke cliff, and as it's set out on two levels there is plenty of space to find a hideaway to sunbathe with a book or have privacy to totally relax.
The view stretches from Rame Head to Falmouth. At night there is an opportunity to stargaze with no light pollution, an incredible expanse of night sky. During the day there's plenty of comfortable seating and a selection of loungers scattered in strategic positions. Parasols are provided for those times the sun gets a little too hot and there are areas of shade to be found throughout the garden.
Later in the evening when the sun sets there is a Jotul wood burner and ample supply of kiln dried logs and kindling. Snuggle up and watch the flat screen TV and DVD with a supply of films.
There's easy access to the beach down a windy path with lots of steps and some fantastic views. Laburnham accepts well behaved dogs, and the six miles of beach are dog friendly, so owners can spend hours watching their pets explore all the charms of the seaside.

...with the weather which, (as we all know when holidaying in England) makes a big difference. But this property is right on the clift top. Access is down a steep hill (400 yards walking) but if you want a location as good as this you need to understand that vehicle access is very hard to get. The owner is attentive and really welcoming. That personal touch goes a long way. The owner went as far as using his local influence in getting us a reservation at "The View" (nearby and very good) after we could not get a table due to it being fully booked. Our family is two adults (early 40's), 7 year old boy and dog. Dog (and son) LOVED the beach and property is pet friendly in the right way. In other words, it will accept a dog but you dont get that sinking feeling when you get there of smelly dog friendly accommodation. Its a great place, great owner and i would much rather be sitting there now than sitting in my office writting this review! Thanks Submitted by Steve on 15/08/2016

...the most amazing veiws. Not for the faint hearted as you need a wheel barrow to transport your things from the car parking space to the accomodation, and it is a steep hill down. It is a magical snug very private place. Inside everything was well thought out. A warm welcome with fresh flowers, fresh bread, cheese and grapes and to wash it down a bottle of red wine.
