...with my daughter, husband and two children, aged two and 9 months. The house has three levels, with two bedrooms on the top floor as you enter the house, three bedrooms on the floor below and the living room, kitchen and dining room on the ground floor. The house has fantastic views over Mevagissey from almost every room and the decking is lovely and very safe for children to play. The house has everything you would want from a holiday home, although you need to be quite fit as there are a lot of steps in the house which might be a problem for some people, but not for us, we loved it.Just Just to warn people who do not know Mevagissey, the road from Mevagissey to the house is a nightmare if you are driving, we did the seven mile detour every day via Port Mellon as my daughter has a large car and didn't want to negotiate the hill. We saw a lot of reversing of cars because the hill is not wide enough for two cars to pass. We walked up and down the hill into town most evenings, which is not a problem going down but is very steep coming back, especially with two prams, but it keeps you fit. There are many good places to eat in the town but the Fountain Inn stands out for me and is a lovely place to eat, the staff are really friendly and the food very good. Overall we had a fantastic holiday at the Pink House and would definitely book again. Submitted by Dawn on 12/09/2015

...over the harbour, of course being so elevated means a certain level of fitness is required to walk up from Mevagissey. There are some great walks from the property and the town is full of lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants. Our week flew by, we wished we could have stayed longer. Submitted by Susie on 27/07/2015
