About this property

… ½ mile from the centre of Mevagissey, high on a hill with sea views over a big grassy common to Mevagissey Bay and St Austell Bay, an attractive semi-detached dormer bungalow. Unfenced patio garden (table/chairs) to the front. At the back, an enclosed suntrap patio (table/chairs).

Inside, a stylishly modernised, bright home with a nautical theme. Across the width of the house, to make the most of the great views, a large open-plan living/dining/kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge-freezer) with leather sofas, TV/DVD, and French windows to the rear patio. Two downstairs bedrooms – a twin, and a room with cabin beds. Bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). Stairs up into a double bedroom (no door) with spectacular time-wasting views out to sea, 5’ bed, TV and en suite bathroom (suite with separate shower). Parked cars can sometimes partially obstruct the view of the sea. A smart holiday home within walking distance of the harbour with its interesting shops and restaurants and close to the coastal path.

"Delightful property in a lovely location high up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. The walk down to the nearest beach is well worth it as often you can have the place to yourself - though not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The walk into Mevagissey is also down a steep slope and steps, but you can be on the harbourside (or in the pub!)in less than 10 minutes."
