Longbeak is a modern 2 bedroom bungalow which benefits from being in an ideal location to explore the north coast of both Cornwall and neighbouring Devon. Popular for its expanse of rugged coastline and beaches the area around Bude has become increasingly popular as an area for surfing along and other watersports and with those in search of the great outdoors.
With a combination of fantastic sea views, a beautifully kept spacious garden which offers the privacy for pets and children, and lovely homely touches, Longbeak provides the perfect base to truly relax amidst beautiful surroundings. Just a one minute walk to the water's edge the interior of the property features a stylish kitchen linked directly to the conservatory to allow garden views whilst dining.
The property also proudly benefits from environmental features including solar water heating panels, composting, a wood burning stove for cosy winder stays and eco-cleaning products.
Whilst Bude and the surrounding area is renowned for its water based activities, the windswept north Cornish coastline is also a haven for wildlife. Many cliff top walks will guide you through a myriad of wild flowers along with birds and butterflies who make their homes there. Further inland you can take a guided walk along Bude canal or simply lay back and relax in nearby Widemouth Bay, which is also an ideal place to learn to surf for those of an aquatic nature.
In terms of places of interest then visitors are spoilt for choice with an array of picture postcard towns and villages dotted along the coast and in close proximity. Explore legends in Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, experience the thriving fishing port of Padstow, stroll down through the cobbled lanes of Clovelly or for something truly spellbinding visit the Museum of Witchcraft in the village of Boscastle.

This is a fabulous two-bed bungalow in a fabulous location. Just two minutes walk from the beach at Widemouth Bay and in a prime location to explore the beautiful north Cornwall coastline, the only problem you'll have when staying here is how to cram everything into your stay! This was our second year staying in the bungalow and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first. The bungalow is furnished to a high standard, with a modern and well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living space. We have stayed here the last two Decembers so have not been able to make best use of the garden and conservatory, but having eaten breakfast in the latter every day I can imagine that it is a great place to relax in the summer evenings. The floors in the main living areas i.e. not the bedrooms are uncarpeted, which is great if you have wet dogs, and there is an outdoor shower with hot water for washing sand off dogs and/or wetsuits. For the technology-minded, there is a large flat screen TV with BT Vision and On Demand movies as well as BT wireless broadband. Mobile reception is variable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the bungalow, because it feels such a nice and homely place and because as keen walkers it is such a great location to explore Cornwall from. If you are looking for bright lights and vibrant nightlife, this area of Cornwall will not be for you.
