About this property

This stunning large barn conversion property provides most spacious and comfortable accommodation for eight guests as well as being able to boast spectacular panoramic sea and coastal views. Aside from the extensively equipped 'cooks' kitchen, outdoor eating area and genuine Italian wood fired pizza oven , Chyreen benefits from an indoor hot tub and an Endless swimming pool for guest's  private use.

To the ground floor you will find the beautifully presented, bespoke Burr oak kitchen with unusual ruby gemstone granite. The exceptionally well appointed kitchen accommodates every imaginable appliance for your convenience including an Aga and two Miele conventional electric ovens, a separate gas hob, an integral Miele Nespresso coffee machine and coffee cup warming drawer, Maytag American fridge freezer, dishwasher. A granite island with secondary preparation sink has a handy breakfast bar which separates the kitchen from the stylish dining room which also has comfy leather easy seating, a stylish modern gas effect wood burning fire and wonderful panoramic views of St Michaels Mount extending over Mount's Bay to Mousehole.

Off the kitchen is the large attractive conservatory with a freestanding soap stone gas wood burner, iPod dock with Bose speakers and more comfortable easy leather seating. The conservatory leads out onto the covered indoor/outdoor eating area complete with feature pizza oven imported from Italy which has been attractively set in Cornish granite. The specialist wood for the pizza oven is provided along with enough complimentary dough for your entire party to make their own pizza at least once!

A separate utility/boot room accommodates the laundry facilities and is a perfect place to dry out wet suits too.

Off the middle hallway is a double bedroom and fully Travertine tiled family bathroom WC with bath and overhead shower.

Staying on the ground floor, a pleasant corridor leads down to the remaining three bedrooms and a luxury feature bathroom. The three bedrooms comprise of one 6 foot super king bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The feature bathroom WC has a roll top free standing bath, handheld shower attachment and large wash hand basin and bidet.

Just off the bedroom corridor is the 'spa room' where the large covered hot tub can be found. Four sets of double doors from this room lead out onto the Endless swimming pool, patio and rear garden.

Upstairs is the large living room with baby grand piano, ample leather easy seating, open fire, audio and visual equipment and additional dining suite. French doors open out from the lounge onto a large glass fronted balcony positioned immediately opposite St Michael's Mount with glorious views out across Mounts Bay and towards Mousehole.

There is ample parking at this property which is at a premium in Marazion. There is parking for 2 cars at the rear of the property and a further parking space at the front where access is also gained. Access is on the level from both entrances to the property.

Chyreen is conveniently placed to easily access Marazion with its array of local shops, cafes and galleries as well as the recently refurbished Goldophin Arms and award winning Ben's Cornish Kitchen which serves creative dishes using locally sourced produce, recently voted Best Restaurant Trenchman's award 2016 and regional winner of Waitrose Good Food Guide.

Marazion beach is just a few minutes away on foot and is ideally suited to families. St Michael's Mount has to be worth a visit given you are so close and can be reached on foot over a causeway at low tide. It is spectacular sight when lit up on some evenings which is impressively viewed from the balcony. Popular surfing beaches such as Sennen and Gwenver are just a few miles away by car and well worth a visit. The beach at Porthcurno with the Minack Theatre is another recommended destination.

The quaint harbour and fishing villages of Mousehole and Porthleven with its pretty harbour and proud association with Rick Stein who has a restaurant there are both less than ten miles away.  St Ives is a short drive or scenic train ride and a sanctuary to resident and visiting artists alike and home to the Cornwall Tate gallery.

The town of Penzance is just a short drive from Chyreen and has all the usual facilities associated with a town of this size including Sainsbury's supermarket, cinema, restaurants and leisure centre. The interesting working fishing village of Newlyn is also nearby where fresh fish and crab can be easily purchased.
