... at Whitsand Bay, about a mile from Millbrook, a detached, cliff-side chalet with stunning 'ships ahoy!' views from Rame Head to Looe. About 100 yards of steep cliff footpath, ending in 24 steps, lead to it from the road. To the side, a grassed area (picnic table) on two levels (small children beware) for sitting/sunbathing. Café/shop, about 70 yards; beach by footpath, about 200 yards.
Inside it is fresh, light and contemporary. Living/dining/kitchen (microwave, freezer, larder fridge, TV/DVD) with 180 degree sea views. Two small bedrooms – a double (5' bed, access to one side of bed only) with 'nothing between you and the sea' views, and one with two 2’6" single beds (zip-linkable to 5' double); bathroom (suite, shower over bath). Washing machine, sink and additional loo in a shed. Parking permit provided from 1 April to 30 September. Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and foot/car ferries to Plymouth, 5 miles. A wonderful place, great for watching the sun rise.
