A secluded and relaxing chalet with panoramic sea views
Laburnham is a totally private lodge with 60 mile uninterrupted sea views. This secluded one bedroom property sits on what’s known as “the front line” of Tregonhawke cliff, and as it’s set out on two levels there’s plenty of space to find a hideaway to sunbathe with a book or just relax.
With sweeping sea views that stretch as far as the eye can see, life at Laburnham is all about enjoying the outside space and taking in the location, and there’s plenty of comfortable seating and a selection of welcoming sun loungers scattered in strategic positions. Parasols are supplied for those times when the sun gets a little too much and there are always areas of shade to be found throughout the garden.
If the weather changes there’s a beautiful Jotul wood burner to snuggle up next to and read, and you’ll also find kindling, peat and kiln dried logs supplied. There’s also a flatscreen TV and DVD with a supply of films for those who would prefer a glass of wine and a tear jerker or a romance to watch and action movies for the guys.
Treat yourself while you’re away and take advantage of the additional services like a Shiatsu masseur that will come to the lodge just to pamper and relax you. Or, if you don’t feel like cooking, a chef can come to the lodge and cook for you (subject to availability and additional charges.)
There's easy access to the beach down a windy path with lots of steps and some fantastic views. Laburnham accepts well behaved dogs, and the six miles of beach are dog friendly, so owners can spend hours watching their pets explore all the charms of the seaside.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at laburnum. The location is spectacular although there is a bit of a hike from where the car is parked as well as a steep descent to the fabulous beach. The cliff side location of the chalet is amazing. The view is second to none. On a slight negative the drawers and cupboards were not that clean and need a bit tidying but that apart this place can't be faulted. We had great weather but I imagine even without that it would still be a great place to stay. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful stay in this cosy well equipped chalet. The view is second to none and we are sure we had the best view on the cliff! The chalet is positioned about half way on the cliff so the journey down to the chalet and the beach isn't too bad for mobile persons. After a day out it is lovely to sit on the totally private veranda and watch the beautiful sunsets in peace and tranquillity. The manager Paul is very helpful; its good to know that there is someone to call if needed. We did not want to leave!
