A huge amount of work and restoration has transformed it into a lovely, spacious home, with its quirky origins cleverly dovetailed with 21st century comfort. Some low door lintels (6’): tall people beware! At the back, a secure courtyard on two levels with steps up to a patio (table/chairs, barbecue) and back gate to a private footway.

From lane, little porch to hall (for coats/boots) with Victorian tiled floor; living room with woodburner, TV/DVD, iPod dock and sea view; at the back, generous kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, double-oven electric range-style cooker) with glazed doors to courtyard and, at the far end, a comfy sofa, TV/DVD and door to teeny outdoor area and utility shed (washer-drier, larder fridge). Under-stair loo (mind head!).

From hall, steep stairs (stairgates) up to first floor and three bedrooms – a roomy double with futon sofa bed, en suite shower-room (suite) and sea view, and, down a few steps, another double and a twin plus bathroom (suite, shower over bath). 

Further stairs up to the second floor and another double bedroom (5’ bed) with the best sea view, and bathroom (suite, shower over bath) with a good sea view from the bath.

Best for maximum of 8 adults, 1 child. Dogs permitted in kitchen/courtyard area only. Car park, 100 yards. A gorgeous house beside the beach and within strolling distance of the pub.
