Visitors will be blown away by this stunning property. Stay here and you have your very own paradise in Cornwall, with extensive landscaped grounds, the freedom and space on offer makes it a really special place for friends and family to enjoy. Your whole holiday could be happily spent without venturing further afield, with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside and the Camel Estuary acting as a back drop beyond. Much thought has gone into catering for all ages, even the play area has been made a safe enclosed area for younger children, while the older ones and adults alike are free to roam.  For anyone interested in gardening, the variety of plant life is overwhelming to say the least and all this before going inside where luxury accommodation and quality hamper is waiting to welcome you. This peaceful retreat at Higher Halwyn is tucked right away from it all but a 10-15 minute drive will take you to Padstow, Wadebridge and several golden sandy beaches.  It stands on the edge of a small hamlet found along a quiet farm lane leading down to the Camel estuary and in the other direction to the village of St. Issey and two public houses.  The Camel Trail, just down the lane, follows the route of the old railway line between Padstow and Bodmin and is much loved by walkers and cyclists (bikes may be hired at Padstow or Wadebridge).  The path wends its way alongside the river bank through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its abundant wildlife and if you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of an otter or a porpoise.  The Trail provides a level 2 mile walk to Padstow or 3 mile walk to Wadebridge - ideal for working up an appetite and a good excuse to sample the fine food on offer in either town. Golfers too will love the opportunity of visiting St. Enodoc or Trevose, both of which are a short drive from the house and the estuary is host to a number of watersports.
