Within 4 miles is Bodmin Moor, excellent for both walking and horse riding, or head to Siblyback Lake Outdoor and Activity Centre; here sailing, windsurfing and canoeing are all available as well as top quality rainbow trout fishing. Why not try wakeboarding or the high ropes course for the truly adventurous? For a more relaxing day, leave your car at the nearby bustling market town of Liskeard and enjoy the train trip to the beautiful, picturesque fishing port of Looe. With beautiful views amongst heavily wooded valleys teeming with wildlife, finally opening up to glorious estuary views as the river meets the sea, this journey is not to be missed. You then reach the heart of Looe with its choice of safe beaches and maze of narrow streets full of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. With such a variety of places to visit and things to do, this lodge is ideally located to offer a great holiday or short break at any time of year. The historic market town of Liskeard is located in South East Cornwall at the head of the Looe Valley. The town has a weekly market and is home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. The beaches and harbour of the quaint fishing port of Looe is a mere 9 miles away. In-between there’s fishing and watersports at nearby Siblyback Lake, the Donkey Sanctuary at St Ann's Chapel, Cotehele House (NT) and gardens, and the championship golf course at St Mellion International Resort.
