Of the cottages available, we chose Willow Cottage because it ticked all the boxes of the other ones, but also had a large food preparation surface in the kitchen - I cater for a coeliac child and funny medical diet for myself. With a bit of forward planning, I even managed to bake using pre-weighed dry ingredients and the provided measuring jug, so the kitchen did live up to expectations, although like anywhere had a few quirks.? The bathroom was also really comparatively good. There was plenty of hygienic space for our toiletries and a bonus family sized towel rail in front of the heater. The kids loved the books and games, especially the novelty 91 piece dominoes. We had one very stormy day at home which was easily filled with domino play and a walk through the holiday parks to nearby woodland. Finally, the owners were really nice when we phoned to confirm the booking and quickly solved our first day problem finding the light switch in the living room.
