About this property

This terraced countryside cottage offers a very comfortable interior and sits within a fabulous setting with lovely views across the fields beyond. There are slate flagstone floors, creating a traditional feel, as well as a kitchen/diner, sitting room with woodburner-effect electric fire, and two bedrooms, ideal for a family or group of friends. Note: This cottage is next to Refs. 17370 and 18015, together they sleep 11.

From the Cornish, meaning 'Frog Pool', Polyphant is close to the convergence of the River Inny and Penpont Water and is surrounded by miles of stunning countryside. Cornwall is a very temperate region of the UK and the beaches are very popular for surfing and other water-sports. The beaches of the north coast are just 14 miles away and also bring you into close proximity to attractions such as the world-famous Eden Project and the Victorian discovery, the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A few miles west of Polyphant, you can take in the rugged beauty of Bodmin Moor with its granite tors, walking opportunities and secluded moor-land villages. The Camel Route, a famous cycling and walking trail is just minutes from here.

The owners are friendly and helpful and supply a delicious cream tea upon arrival. This was our third stay at Trevosper Barn Cottages, that speaks for itself.

However, that's part of the charm, but it's actually only just off the A30. This is a great location for exploring both the north and south coasts. A gorgeous setting with garden views over to Bodmin Moor. Everything was as described and the property felt fresh and was clean and tidy. Highly recommended!

Being so close to the A30 it was convenvient to travel to all areas but very quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage.
