The beautiful Lizard peninsula, on the south coast, famous for its beautiful hidden coves and sandy beaches is worth visiting for a beach day out.

4 Hedgerows is the perfect base for a holiday to remember.

Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath is rural in character with a local shop and Post Office as well as a parish church. There are a number of ghost stories associated with Lanreath. The best-known features a ghost in black driving a coach pulled by a headless horse. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse dating back to the 16th century. Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe.

The lodge itself was comfortable and well laid out and included little extras like a coffee machine! Staff and neighbours were all so friendly & helpful. Would also thoroughly recommend the Old Mill restaurant.

Went to use restaurant but was told we couldn’t eat in as not booked, had this been mentioned on the paperwork it would of saved a lot of effort to make it in there as I was on crutches.

Everything was brilliant about the stay, from the communication beforehand with Sally, to the cleanliness and facilities inside the property. The location was brilliant for visiting places like Looe and Polperro (would definitely recommend going if you haven't before, beautiful) and it was even an easy journey across to Newquay and Holywell Bay (albeit about an hour). The site was clean, modern and really quiet, we didn't really hear anyone else the entire stay. The restaurant on site was nice and served a good selection of dishes too. Would definitely recommend and return.
