e have had several breaks at forest holidays though have found their rates too high in the childrens holidays. We're so glad we found Stonerush - Better prices and more comfortable cabins!

We stayed at Stonerush Valley between 21st and 25th September 2015. As we drove onto the site, we could tell how peaceful it was. We went to reception to check in. The receptionist was lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Our lodge was just behind reception, so found it with ease. As we pulled up I was stunned at how lovely it looked, and I hadn't even got inside! There was a little picnic bench and a space for one car, although you could park two, as we were at the end of the drive. We opened the door, and it was like new. All the rooms were spotlessly clean and the decor was immaculate. It was of very high spec throughout. The living area was open plan and very spacious. The master bedroom was lovely with ensuite shower room. The living area, bedroom and shower room all have doors opening onto the decking, where the hot tub, table and chairs and relaxers are. The view is lovely, just overlooking fields, with a stream running past. The hot tub really made our stay special, it was great! The staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was amazing! We will be definitely returning.

We originally booked a different property on the development about a week before advised problem with the hot tub. Initially disappointed but when we arrived at our second choice I was so pleased the location was perfect in a valley with a balcony running the full length of the property with a patio set and hot tub overlooking a stream. We were able to pull back the doors and watch the wildlife. The accommodation had everything you needed including a dishwasher. The property was spotless and lively and warm. Towels, dressing gowns and slippers provided. It was lovely in the hot tub at night looking at the stars and hearing the stream. The old mill restaurant was lovely, the staff were welcoming and friendly we also had a lovely reasonably priced meal. We can thoroughly recommend and we will be back.
