About this property

…. seemingly in the middle of nowhere on the edge of Tretoil, on a 1½ acre smallholding along 200 yards of hardcore track, a simple cottage converted from part of an old engine house which once played its part in Cornwall’s ancient mining history. Now, with friendly dog, Fred, the owner lives and has his carpentry workshop next door; home-produced pork available. The back garden is unfussy and natural with raised rustic decking (table/chairs).

Three steps up from the garden to living room, cosy with woodburner and TV/DVD; snug dining room; kitchen (small dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric cooker, fridge) with door to garden; ground-floor shower-room (suite).  Open-sided stairs up to the double bedroom (5’ bed). No children. Good for walkers, cyclists, golfers or for touring the whole county

"My wife and I and the dog had a great time a week was not long enough to take in all of the sights to see Cornwell. We were out every day by nine back by 6 to recuperate for the next day.The weather was fantastic it only rained once and that did not last long it was a shame to be in the middle of nowhere but the country scenery made up for it"
