In a perfect location for a relaxing holiday or short break this beautiful barn conversion is set amonst stunning Cornish countryside two miles from the small village of Lanivet which is known to be the centre of Cornwall. Sunnywell is designed in an upside down fashion to make the most of the far-reaching views from the huge open plan living area on the first floor with a full length window and French doors with a ballustrade. With a fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting and dining areas you will have all you need in this charming room with huge exposed A frames adding to the rustic authentic charm. On the ground floor are the two bedrooms, the large vaulted master double with exposed beams and en-suite facilities and a twin with zip and link beds giving you the option of a double at your request. There is also a further family bathroom with a full size bath to relax after a day walking the moors or cycling on one of the many popular cycling trails. Outside enclosed gardens and a patio with furniture add to the relaxing feel. There is also a small barn outside used as a utility room which doubles up as a store for bikes and boards and also has half size table tennis. Being in such a central location makes Sunnywell perfect as a touring base and from the moment you arrive to a good Cornish welcome from the owners and a wonderful home made cream tea to the moment you leave you are assured of a memorable holiday in idyllic surroundings. Ideal for a family or two couples all year round.

Lanivet is a delightful little village in the heart of the Cornish countryside. It offers a shop and a pub serving food, as well as a fish and chip restaurant. It comes near to Bodmin, a popular town with a range of amenities. You can also easily reach the popular attractions of Bodmin Moor and the Camel cycle trail for to more energetic, whilst the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the National Trust's Lanhydrock House and the Eden Project provide a more relaxing pastime.

Over two floors.Two ground floor bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en-suite shower, WC and basin, 1 x twin (zip/link can be super king-size double on request).

First floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

External utility with small table tennis table.

Oil fired central heating.

Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, Smart TV, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs.

Fuel and power included in rent.

Bed linen and towels included in rent, please bring own beach towels.

Off road parking for 4 cars.

Enclosed garden with patio and furniture.

Sorry, no pets and no smoking.

Shop and pub 2 miles.

Note: The spiral staircase is open tread and a stair gate cannot be fitted, children to be supervised.

Please note: you are able to charge an electric car at the property, however there will be a £80 + VAT (5%) per week, per vehicle charge payable to the owner If you have more than one vehicle, you will need to tell us and pay any additional charges as required.

Any accessories required to facilitate this would not be provided.

Please note: Check-in day in strictly Saturday between the months of May and September.

    The Barn was splendid and, as others have commented previously, the beds were extremely comfortable-- quite rare in our experience of holiday lettings. Really very desirable and we would thoroughly recommend.

    The cottage is brilliant for two couples as both bedrooms and bathrooms are super comfy with plenty of space - no arguing over who gets the best bedroom! There are also tables and chairs outside for eating / relaxing and numerous games, plenty of fun. We had a great welcome from Jill with a cream tea, jam first! Even before we arrived she was so helpful with ideas for local restaurants for a special birthday. I can't praise the owners or this property enough, brilliant and thank you.
