Tucked away in rural Cornwall, Lanhydrock Barn provides the perfect base for exploring an area renowned for its famous historic houses and gardens. Stroll along the footpaths to the magnificent Lanhydrock House, take in the attractions of the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan or discover the coastal delights of the Cornish Riviera – home to picturesque fishing villages and secluded beaches, or head west to Padstow and the surfing beaches.

Built originally in the 18th Century and set within its own grounds, Lanhydrock Barn blends modern furnishings with traditional features including beamed ceilings throughout. The open plan living area and kitchen provide all the home comforts to enjoy your stay whilst the wet room provides a convenient place to change out of muddy clothes. Outside, guests will find a spacious enclosed garden and close by footpaths leading off into the beautiful surrounding grounds.

From your doorstep take a step back in time strolling around the stunning grounds of Lanhydrock country house and estate, which also leads down to the Fowey river valley. You may also join the Saints Way Trail which passes close by and crosses Cornwall from Padstow to Fowey.

Those in search of a good workout, or pure indulgent relaxation, should head to the nearby Hustyns Hotel, where the owners have negotiated reasonable rates for use of the fantastic facilities which include a state-of-the-art gym, and an indoor pool complete with a steam room and sauna.

The National Trust site Lanhydrock House is also less than a mile away where you can explore the stunning cycle trails on offer, as well as hire a bicycle. Just over a mile away for guests keen to improve their handicap, Lanhydrock Golf Club provides the perfect opportunity to play a round surrounded by wonderful countryside.

This property is especially suitable for families. It provides a cot and highchair plus a baby bath (for 0 - 4 years) available on request. The property is VisitEngland family accredited.
