Enjoy some peace and quiet here, or wander out to the farmland, where you can take in the scenery and alpacas, whilst resting on the benches and picnic spots around the farm. There are plenty of beautiful woodland and riverside walks in the area, whilst a short drive away are several National Trust properties including Antony House, used for the filming of "Alice in Wonderland", Cotehele Estate with historic quayside and Saltram House with gardens and deer park. The vibrant city of Plymouth is a short distance away, a perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with your loved one. This cottage is perfect for a relaxing romantic retreat at any time of year. St Mellion International Resort (4 miles), which offers a European Tour golf course and an award winning 2AA Rosette gourmet restaurant called An Boesti plus No.18 Grill & Bar restaurant.

China Fleet Country Club, which offers a golf course and spa facilities is also 4.5 miles away.

The village of Hatt offers a shop, post office and pub. Close by is the town of Saltash, plus there are woodland and riverside walks in the area and within driving distance are a number of National Trust properties. Hatt is a great base for a Cornish holiday at whatever time of year you decide to visit.
