As the name suggests, Coachman’s Cottage was a former Coach House located in the grounds of Trenoweth House. The exterior of the property has been renovated sympathetically to replicate how it would have once looked, but upon entering the cottage the interior offers a stunning modern contrast. The large open plan room provides a bespoke hand-made kitchen that has been cleverly designed by the architect so that all appliances are hidden behind a wooden façade, allowing the large wood burner in the centre of the room to provide the main focal point. The beautiful cobbled flooring adds a rustic element to this otherwise sleek and minimalist room, and the old stable doors can be opened up on a sunny day to allow you access on to the pretty, private garden in front of the property. The two bedrooms on the first floor are well designed, with plenty of hidden storage that is neatly concealed by wood panels in the walls.

Coachman’s Cottage is situated in the grounds of Trenoweth House, a beautiful former vicarage that is located in a rural setting 7 miles from Helston. As well as your own private garden, guests also have shared access to the apple orchard, woodland and pond, all set within just over three acres of land that is enjoyed by all guests that stay here. Woodman's Cottage (sleeps 2), Gardener's Cottage (sleeps 2) and Trenoweth House (sleeps 12) can also be booked with this property for larger parties.

garden AND parking: There is a small private garden in front of the property (the garden is not enclosed). Parking for up to two cars can be accommodated on the large driveway. Guest's also have shared access to the apple orchard, woodland and pond - please note the pond is not enclosed, children must be accompanied around the pond at all times.

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.

Pet Welcome: Maximum 1; £25 per week.

Power and Heat: Gas underfloor heating & electricity included in rent.

Bedding and Linen: Pillows & duvets included; bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).

Please note that there are two separate holiday cottages and the main house on this estate which may also be let at the same time as Coachman's Cottage. These each have their own parking and outside space, but they also have shared access to the apple orchard, pond and woodland. The formal garden and lawn is for the main house only.
