Outside, fire up the barbecue and enjoy toasting marshmallows as you sit and relax into the evening in your own private space. The immediate surroundings are rural and green; roam the grounds just outside your front door and come across a mini Stonehenge, a small pond and farmyard animals including chickens and goats. Just a short drive away is Helston town centre where you have access to plenty of historical attractions like traditional old pubs, numerous pasty shops and miner’s cottages. Walkers will enjoy a stroll around Penrose, Cornwall’s largest natural lake, and the great beaches nearby, including Porthleven, Mullion Cove and Gunwalloe are definitely worth a visit. Take a ride on the Helston Railway or visit the Helston Museum on a rainy day for a great day out exploring the history of the town.
