Once the day is over, the Rafters Club is the place to be. ’Foxy’ leads off every evening with children’s entertainment, and there are games, cash bingo, super shows and family entertainment.

Third time staying at st Ives holiday village and have booked for next year. Quite and relaxing the club house has new tables chairs carpet very nice. The restaurant was terrible no food available apart from curry and chicken burgers. Waiter apologised for this from my last stay the restaurant food was fantastic since John Fowler has taken over the restaurant awful.The gold lodge was very clean but the 2 settees smelt of body odour and it was obvious that they had been slept on. The mattress on the double and singles dipped in the middle.So not vey comfortable .But st Ives is ideal holiday village buses go into stives regular.

Great base for exploring the area. )Lovely places like St Michaels’ Mount, Porthcurno and St Ives not far to drive to.) Eden project one hour away.The gold Lodge had everything we needed and was spacious and clean. Play area at reception was very old and lacking and needs a revamp. The on site woodland trail was lovely with our 3.5 year old.

Cabin facilities weren't very good. The beds were terrible , you could feel the springs from the mattresses digging in your back whichever way you moved and they were so uncomfortable. We complained to reception and they sent a couple of duvets to our cabin to lay on top of the mattresses - this was marginally better but not a long term solution and still not very comfortable. There was also a window in the kitchen area which didn't close properly and could only be left on the latch. There were only two chairs on the decking when the cabin was for 6 people so when we wanted to sit outside we had to take the kitchen chairs out which wasn't very convenient. The fridge door would occasionally pop open as the door wasn't very good. The cabins are much closer together than advertised, as the marketing materials make it look like you have far more private space - we didn't really have much privacy at all as the parking area was face on to our sitting area so people could see right into the cabin when parking up or walking through.The positive was that the cabin was clean.
