Experience - The Area...
Pixies Folly is a spacious and very pleasant detached chalet bungalow just 100 metres from the beach! Set in the grounds of the owners home, Pixies Folly provides comfortable, light and airy accommodation for two with generous outside space to enjoy.
Praa Sands has an array of facilities to keep you entertained including the golden sand beach which stretches for over a mile. Watersport hire, cafe, pub and restaurant can all also be found down on the beach - (please note the closest access for Praa Sands Beach from this property is via a large number of steps. Easier beach access is available a little futher away).
The famous haunted Pengersick Castle is just a few minutes drive from Pixies Folly. Beautiful St Germoe's church again just a few minutes drive from the property is well worth a visit with parts of the church dating back to the 12th century. Praa Sands can also boast a super 9 hole golf course which overlooks the sea.
The villages and towns of Porthleven, Helston, Marazion, St Michaels Mount and Penzance are all within a 15 minute drive.
Stay - The Accommodation...
From the dedicated parking space, two small steps lead up to the accommodation which is set out over one level with open plan living. A comfortable living area with generous easy seating provision leads into the well equipped and presented kitchen/ diner. French doors lead out onto the raised terrace with coastal and country views.
A good size double bedroom with ample wardrobe space and separate shower room WC complete the accommodation layout. The property is heated via a combination of fixed electric and portable heating.
There is parking for one car next to the property on a gravel surface. A sunken courtyard area with garden furniture and barbecue stand provides a great outdoor space for alfresco dining.

Pixies Folly was just perfect for our stay, clean comfortable and very stylish. Owner made us very welcome on arrival including a cream tea waiting for us. We had a wonderful week visiting old haunts around West Cornwall and Pixies Folly was a perfect base for this.
