About this property

A beautiful property with woodburner, views of the river, ideally situated in Bodinnick with private parking and enclosed decked area, only a stone's throw from Bodinnick ferry which will take you across to Fowey.

Boasting pretty estuary views from the living area and from the outside deck looking down to the River Fowey, Mole's House offers an idyllic location, private parking, extremely well-equipped facilities and a comforting woodburner for those cooler evenings just yards from the Bodinnick Ferry which will take you across the river to explore the many independent shops, restaurants and galleries in Fowey. This holiday cottage has been finished with some unusual and stylish touches including a floating kitchen with feature lighting, attractive natural wooden panelling, nautical objects and fabulous bathrooms.

The start of the famous Hall Walk lies just up the hill. This 4 mile moderately-rated walk takes you through stunning woodland and creeks with striking views of the harbour. Just a mile from Mole's House you can access a boat park and launch site at Penmarlam Quay to take advantage of the great sailing locally or have a day out and explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. After a busy day you can dine in the picturesque surroundings of the Old Ferry Inn and enjoy locally-sourced food and real ale and stroll home afterwards.

We loved Mole’s House. It’s a house for all seasons. Beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of thoughtful extras. The welcome tray with prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch. And an advance phone call from Stuart, establishing contact in advance and ensuring we had directions was much appreciated. Too marks for our stay.
