A lovely house, about a 10 minute walk from the main shops. It was clean & comfortable. The only negatives we found are: the parking at Caffa Mill is cheaper at £19 for a week but it’s almost impossible to find a space unless you’re prepared to wait 15 minutes or more. Old Station Yard is less busy but £45 a week, we visited early July. The 3 steps at the front are very steep, quite high & there’s no rail to hold on to. The windows are older, original casements, lovely but don’t keep much noise out & are a bit draughty. In the master bedroom, the window coverings let in a lot of light, so if you’re photo-sensitive it will wake you very early in the morning.

Excellent location and very comfortable property.

Good sized cottage (particularly the living accommodation) with easy access to town and long stay parking. Clean and well equipped.
