Home Farm Cottage may just prove to be your quintessential Cornish holiday cottage. This beautifully renovated former farm workers home is situated close to the owner's farmhouse, on a working cattle farm, just above Boscastle village. With far reaching sea views, even to Lundy Island, from just about every window and the garden area, you will not want to leave the cottage after arriving and settling into this welcoming home from home. Tastefully decorated throughout and with many extras provided by the generous owner, such as quality toiletries and welcome pack, you can also use the farm shop along the lane to purchase eggs laid by their chickens and their own recipe for home-made sausages.

Entrance to the cottage is directly into the country-style kitchen, which is equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Original sash windows and slate floors throughout, painted wood kitchen units with solid wood and granite effect worktops, and authentic wooden latch doors add to the character. A rear hallway leads off to a good size utility space with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. There is ample storage space for outdoor or beach gear, buggies etc. as well as providing a full size ironing board and iron. This area also has a well-appointed shower room with original beams and painted stone walls,which can be very useful after a day spent on the beach. Through from the kitchen is a lovely spacious dining room with a character fireplace housing the large log burner stove. Attractively furnished with antique pine dresser and grandad chair, large farmhouse table and painted chairs, this is a delightful room with views over the front garden and to the sea. The front door of the house opens from here into the large enclosed garden. The cosy living room has an open fire surrounded by comfortable leather sofas and chair and the deep window, with seat, looks over the front garden. Stairs rise from the dining room to the first floor where the central staircase splits and up a further four steps to the right, is the double bedroom. This is a beautifully furnished and decorated room with antique style furniture and delightful co-ordinating fabrics. The sea views from the window are stunning. From the landing and up four steps to the left is the beach themed family bathroom. The second bedroom is a twin, again with antique style painted metal beds, gorgeous co-ordinating linens and quilts and those amazing sea views. Both bedrooms have stripped pine floorboards and cheerful rugs. The outside space offers a large square enclosed garden with a terrace fronting the cottage and further table and chairs on the grassed area. There is a gas BBQ to the side of the terrace. Parking is adjacent on a gravelled area next to the garden gate.

Home Farm Cottage will give visitors the chance to enjoy a truly authentic Cornish holiday home in an outstanding location. With the lovely village of Boscastle within walking distance and the further North Cornish coastline close by, including Port Isaac of Doc Martin fame, as well as Tintagel and Bude, there are many opportunities to explore locally.
