About this property

This light and airy terraced cottage provides comfortable accommodation within the Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth, just 3 miles from Falmouth. Pendra Loweth is a purpose built village of privately owned self-catering holiday cottages. This property has garden views and is set in a quiet spot just along from the tennis courts. The onsite facilities also include a gym, children's outdoor play area and an indoor plunge pool (seasonal opening hours) making this perfect for families as well as the Village terrace which is a great place to relax and enjoy refreshments. The ground floor of the cottage is an open plan living area with well equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting area, plus a cloakroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms – a twin and a double plus a family bathroom. Double doors lead from the living area out onto the gardens which are paved and there is a communal lawned area. One parking space plus visitor parking nearby. The Village of Gardens is equidistant between Maenporth and Swanpool beaches. Swanpool is popular for the sand and swimming while Maenporth is a little more relaxed but equally as special; both offer fantastic restaurants and sandy shores so you really are spoilt for choice. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the river towards Truro. Perfectly situated to discover all of Cornwall's fascinating history, Owl's Roost is an ideal spot for all year round.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry viii, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).
