About this property

Quality, comfort and value-for-money best describe Mulberry Cottage, which sits within the Village of Gardens at Pendra Loweth, Nr Falmouth. The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth is a village of purpose built and privately owned self-catering holiday cottages. The open plan living room features luxurious and comfortable leather settees and doors to a large lawn garden (communal), which offers ample space for children to play whilst parents watch and relax on the private patio equipped with garden furniture. There is a pristine family bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor, one equipped with a flat-screen TV. Both bedrooms boast seriously comfortable mattresses, crisp cotton bed linens and a feature wall decorated with stylish wall paper. Those who have not ventured to the beach may enjoy a dip in the splash pool or some time in the gym. Perhaps the best work out to be had is a circular walk from the cottage, down to Maenporth cove, up across the spectacular coast path toward Swanpool and then back up through the lanes to the village; roughly five miles but well worth the effort for those wanting to soak up the best that this special location has to offer. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River. Stylishly presented throughout, it is a highly desirable residence suited to both couples and families

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry viii, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.

The only thing I couldn't find was a hair dryer but I had taken my own so didn't cause me an issue.

Within a short drive, or reasonable walking distance of 3 good beaches (but note that it would be uphill all the way back). The property was very clean and comfortable, with everything you would need for a family holiday.

Everything you could possibly need is supplied. We had a fabulous week there. Beaches, coast path and woodland walks all within easy reach of this quiet holiday home site. This our third visit to Falmouth, will definitely stay at Mulberry Cottage again on our next visit. Cant reccomend it highly enough.
