For a wider range of shops and fine eateries, take the short trip to the market town of Liskeard which comes bursting with characterful buildings, and you may wish to learn of the town's history at Liskeard Museum. For scenic walking and cycling, venture through Bodmin Moor with its astounding views quirky ruins. It is a perfect base for exploring attractions such as Looe and Polperro. Head to Siblyback Lake with its sailing, fishing and watersports, or a little further to Bodmin Moor.
